Vacation | Summer 2019

August 19, 2019

We just returned from a wonderful week away in the mountains. It was so relaxing!

I had gotten into the routine of being home day in and day out, regular chores and cooking, and everything else that comes with being a stay-at-home mama. So getting away for the week was so refreshing!

We headed up into the mountains to Lake Arrowhead, it is BEAUTIFUL there!

And now that I’m back home in the reality of motherhood, I am so thankful for everything that I have and get to do. Being away for the week showed me that I take it for granted and often see all the tasks before me as just work. While it is a lot of work, a lot of work is such a blessing. I’m so thankful that I get to work hard by being a wife and mom. What a privilege to serve my family in this way. <3

It was also great to have time to rest and think! I have lots of ideas to share with you all as a result.

Okay, enough talking, here are some pictures of our time away!
