The Easiest Curry Ever | Indian Food

April 26, 2021

Indian food can be really time-consuming to make and downright intimidating with all the different flavors and spices. After years of attempting different recipes for my husband, I have found THE easiest curry ever and I’m so glad you’re reading this so that you can know about it too!

The Easiest Curry Ever

Okay, are you ready for the recipe? Don’t miss it.

Saute any vegetable or egg in coconut oil for around 10 (less it it’s eggs) minutes. Add around 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder. Cook for 5 minutes longer. Add 1 tablespoon red chili powder and continue cooking. Salt when the vegetables are tender or the meat is cooked. Serve with basmati rice.

That’s it! I know, it sounds very simple, but this is actually a really quick way to have a “curry” for any meal that you are cooking. I’ve made SO many different vegetables this way… lentils, chickpeas, potatoes, carrots, beets, okra, eggs, and even fish! If the vegetable that you are cooking gets a little soggy or falls apart, add some peanuts to the dish for the last five minutes of cooking for a crunch.

This recipe has really saved me when I’ve been in a pinch. I hope it can save you too sometime. Tell me how it goes for you in the comments!
